This Privacy and Cookie Policy (this "Policy") explains how RealRecruit, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") processes personal information that we receive via our website (relayed.com) and our applications (collectively, "Relayed"). This Policy applies only to Relayed and does not apply to information collected offline, on any other website, or through unsolicited communications.
We collect information when you create an account, sign up for alerts, interact with the service, complete forms or surveys, submit feedback, or contact customer support. This includes the information required to create login credentials, any optional account information you choose to provide, and free-form text you submit, which is stored on our servers.
When you use Relayed, your device automatically provides technical information so we can respond to and customize the service for you — including IP address, device identifiers, usage statistics, URLs visited, page views, time spent, clicks, platform type, and, where enabled, location data. We may use web beacons, pixel tags, and log files to record this information and compile aggregate usage statistics. If you access Relayed from a mobile device, we collect your physical location only if you have enabled that feature.
Relayed allows users to communicate with their teams, institutions, and organizations — both directly and through the submission of information. Information you create may be shared with the relevant organization, particularly when it addresses circumstances involving physical or emotional harm, criminal activity, ethical concerns, or other matters requiring a response. Authorized administrators of that organization may read and respond to submissions.
Except as described above, we generally do not disclose your individual account information, content, or usage data to third parties, other than: with your consent; to service providers strictly necessary to deliver the service (for example, AWS for hosting); as aggregated, non-identifiable statistics; to comply with law, subpoena, or court order; to investigate suspected illegal or unethical activity; or in connection with a business reorganization or sale of assets.
We do not sell or share mobile or personal data with third parties, affiliates, or partners for marketing or promotional purposes. We only share data with third parties when it is strictly necessary to deliver our service and only under binding agreements that ensure confidentiality. Under no circumstances will mobile data be shared or sold for advertising or promotional use.
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send SMS messages related to the service — including verification codes, replies to your conversation, and notifications about a request or report you submitted. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Mobile information collected for SMS is used only to provide the service and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing, as described in Section 4.
We use cookies, web beacons, locally shared objects, mobile identifiers, and similar technologies ("Cookies") to recognize you, enhance your experience, and understand usage. Cookies may be session-based (temporary) or persistent. You can refuse or disable Cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect functionality.
You can manage your information through your account settings. Promotional emails include an unsubscribe option; opting out does not stop transactional communications necessary to operate the service. Residents of the EEA and UK have additional rights, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
We employ reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial measures designed to safeguard the information we collect. No company can fully eliminate security risk, so we cannot guarantee the security of any part of the service. We never request your password after registration.
Anyone under 14 years of age is prohibited from using Relayed or providing personal information. If we learn that a minor under 14 has provided personal information without parental consent, we will remove it and terminate the account.
